Sodium Bisulfate is an inorganic, pearly white to slightly yellow product. It is odorless and easily soluble in water. Sodium Bisulfate is used as a safer and less expensive replacement for several acids. It is also called "dry acid" which means that it does not create fumes and spills and thus it is easier to handle. It is used as a pH lowering chemical. It is often used in pool and spa, agriculture, and water treatment industries.
Sodium Bisulfate is also used as a non-hazardous, non-toxic, dry, granular additive used for poultry house ammonia control, litter acidification.
